Last week Adler Industrial, the City of Boise, Boise Airport, and Frito-Lay unveiled the newest Frito-Lay distribution center located at 2711 S. Fry Street on the Boise Airport expansion property. This state-of-the-art facility, situated on Boise Airport’s expansion property, stands as a testament to the power of partnership and innovation. With the support of BVA and Sawtooth Investment Group, this joint venture has brought forth a remarkable 84,000-square-foot facility, equipped with cutting-edge amenities including order fulfillment services, conference rooms, and a trucker lounge as well as other incredible amenities. Not only does this project bring jobs to the area, but it also represents a significant investment of approximately $25 million in the Boise Airport’s industrial land.
Giving Back: Frito Lay and Adler Industrial Support the Community
In addition to the excitement surrounding the facility’s opening, there was a sense of goodwill and camaraderie in the air. Both Frito-Lay and Adler Industrial took the opportunity to give back to the community that has supported them. In a heartfelt gesture, both companies announced donations of $5,000 each to the Idaho Foodbank, reaffirming their commitment to the community and supporting those in need. Each $5,000 donation will provide food for up to 15,000 meals to Idahoans experiencing food insecurity.
The generosity didn’t end there. As guests mingled and celebrated, they were treated to a delicious surprise courtesy of Black Market Gelato, a neighboring tenant in an Adler Industrial building. Their mouthwatering gelato provided the perfect sweet touch to the festivities, further enhancing the sense of community and camaraderie among attendees.
