Black Market Gelato Opens First Brick-and-Mortar Gelateria at Adler Industrial Property

At Adler Industrial, we believe that thoughtfully designed buildings lay the foundation for thriving local businesses. We are excited to announce the opening of Black Market Gelato’s first retail gelateria, now welcoming customers at 2545 S. Fry Street, Suite 110 in Boise, Idaho. This milestone not only marks a new chapter for the Black Market Gelato team – it also showcases the strength and flexibility of the space we designed to support Idaho’s most innovative makers.


A Space Designed for Culinary Success

The building at 2545 S. Fry Street is part of a larger flex industrial campus developed by Adler Industrial to serve the needs of food producers, specialty manufacturers, and logistics operations. Completed in 2022, the building offers nearly 93,000 square feet of modern industrial space, strategically located just minutes from I-84, the Boise Airport, and major distribution routes.

Key features of the development include:

  • High-efficiency HVAC and electrical systems to support food-grade operations
  • 24-foot clear heights, allowing for optimal storage and production layouts
  • Generous power and utility capacity, tailored for manufacturing and commercial kitchens
  • Ample parking and truck access to support both customer traffic and delivery logistics
  • Divisible tenant suites, offering the ability to grow within the same location

Suite 110, now home to Black Market Gelato’s first gelateria, was finished with a storefront entrance, upgraded lighting, plumbing enhancements, and interior finishes that support both retail operations and a premium guest experience. Adjacent to the retail suite, Black Market also operates its production facility in Suite 100 – an ideal setup that allows for seamless integration of manufacturing, cold storage, and direct-to-consumer service.


Craft Gelato, Now Scooped Fresh in Boise

Founded by Zbynek “Spin” Mlynarik, Black Market Gelato has developed a loyal following for its traditional Italian gelato and fruit-forward sorbets. Spin’s culinary expertise was shaped by years of training under gelato masters in Italy and France, and his commitment to small-batch, high-quality production is evident in every scoop.

Now open to the public, the Boise gelateria offers a rotating selection of flavors, from classic chocolate and vanilla bean to more adventurous varieties like Earl Grey, Whiskey Caramel, and Coconut Thai Basil.
