Mandana Tarr Provides CRE Legislative Updates at BOMA

Each month, the local chapter of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) holds a members-only luncheon where local members share experiences and speak on various subjects that affect the local business community. In recent months, the greater Boise area has seen significant activity from the Idaho Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee (JFAC), especially concerning the old Idaho Department of Transportation property on State Street.

At the April BOMA Member Luncheon, Adler Industrial’s Asset Manager, Mandana Tarr, provided a legislative update. Mandana took the time to explain the complexities of the recent changes in JFAC that affected the current legislative session in general and highlighted the canceled sale of the Idaho Department of Transportation property on State Street in particular. The conflicting decisions made by JFAC about the aforementioned property prompted Mandana to encourage those present to get involved, participate in the upcoming primary elections, and reach out to their elected representatives to communicate commercial real estate priorities.

Mandana Tarr has served on the BOMA Idaho Advocacy Committee for the last two years.
